Old Business
A) Video Camera and TV for Sunday Mass Broadcasts (Dan & Pat)
Dan, Pat, Mike Jarchow, and Mary had a meeting with Dean Sim from Sim Sound & Video in Winona; he made a very detailed presentation on what he believes we need to be able to tape the Mass for Cable TV and an updated sound system, projection system and a camera system. We have a donation of $3,500 for this project and we may be receiving some additional funds from a bequest soon that could be designated to pay for at least part of the proposal. There was a discussion, but no decisions were made.
B) Recipients for 1% Charitable Giving – 4th Qtr: The decision was made to give half of the money to Second Harvest and half to ChildrenŐs Home Society.
New Business
A) Elections for Pastoral Council: Deb has decided not to run for a second term. Paul Doherty, Tom Nelson, Annie Opitz, Rosie Paquette, Tony Weis and Dick Smook have agreed to run. Elections will be May 16 & 17. Patrice is unable to be here, so George, Dan and Pat will count the ballots. We thanked Patrice for making all of the phone calls.
